Today announced a strategic cooperation initiative with Montgomery County, Maryland, a region recognized as the home of a major satellite manufacturing cluster, to advance cutting-edge satellite systems and semiconductor technologies.
The partnership is aligned with the recent trade agreement between the United States and Taiwan, reinforcing international collaboration in high-tech sectors, especially semiconductors.
This collaboration leverages Montgomery County’s established space communications and advanced technology ecosystem to create a high-impact innovation hub connecting industry, academia, and government.
It represents a convergence of international capabilities to accelerate next-generation technology development while complementing broader cross Pacific U.S.–Taiwan economic engagement - also the recent Trade Investment Deal by both countries. Australian Research Council has announced the award of the ARC Industry Laureate Fellowship Grant for industry partner Galaverse for AI HoloFi project. An ARC Industry Laureate Fellowship is among the most prestigious and competitive advanced research grants in Commonwealth Australia, designed to embed world-leading impactful, industry-aligned research initiatives.
The ARC Grant includes around A$3.52 million investment in the industry leading global AI initiatives.
The Australian Research Council (ARC) is Australia's premier science and nonmedical research funding agency. Established in 2001 (and evolving from earlier bodies dating back to 1946), the ARC is a Commonwealth of Australia entity that distributes over A$800 million annually via the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP).

Galaverse, a U.S.-Australian joint venture specializing in AI-powered RF sensing technologies for next-generation 6G networks, has been actively collaborating with global partners in product development, system integration, and RF specialized fabrication. Their operations span across the U.S., Taiwan, Singapore, and Australia.
In October 2024, Galaverse was recognized in the ICTGC for developing advanced AI-powered RF sensing chips applicable in WiFi, B5G, and 6G technologies. This recognition highlights their innovation in areas such as indoor navigation, smart home automation, and security systems.
Galaverse has been engaging with various industry players, including global semiconductor companies, to advance their technology. In June 2025, Galaverse has signed an agreement with Keysight Technologies in cooperating RF AI sensing and ultra high frequency RF silicon designs.
